Westchester’s Premier Yoga Studio

For more than two decades Yoga Haven has been a welcoming community space for yoga and wellness in lower Westchester. Our students come from Bronxville, Tuckahoe, Scarsdale, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, White Plains, and the Bronx. Our studio is a haven from life’s inevitable stresses where we offer classes, experiences, and services grounded in yogic philosophy that help students return to their lives off the mat with a greater sense of grace and ease.

We hope you’ll join us on our journey to build a world filled with peace, love, and kindness.

  • I have been a participating member of the Yoga Haven community for 24 years. Only Betsy and her teachers have taken my 84 years to a place in which I feel young, flexible, and personally valued and peaceful. (comments from my doctors) When once I could not walk to an agile, healthy, strong , flexible woman. Having tried other yoga studios, yogahaven provides a unique place for healing, meditation, challenging your mind, body and spirit to each individual's needs and desires. This occurs during each session with the instructors cognizant of the physical, emotional and developmental needs of each participant.. They are interested in YOU and not in simply attending a class. Nowhere else have I experienced such concern, care and understanding. With my extensive knowledge of the essence of Yoga's philosophy. Yoga Haven is the place for achieving your personal goals. When they had to close for Covid, I missed my spiritual and physical guidance. I am blessed to have them back. They are an inspiration.

  • I have practiced yoga with Jill for over 15 years and she has been a steady and inspiring presence for me as a practitioner and a teacher. Each class is a blend of wisdom, challenge, and deep care. Jill has an incredible ability to meet each student exactly where they are, while gently encouraging us to overcome obstacles and discover strength, balance, and flexibility. I am endlessly grateful for the knowledge that Jill brings to every practice as well as the entire Yoga Haven community. Thank you, Jill, for 15 years of transformation — and thank you Betsy for creating a safe space to meet, practice, and find peace. The studio is beautiful…and the community is warm and welcoming.

  • Outstanding! Do yourself a favor and book a session at Yoga Haven, you won’t regret it. I’ve attended since the opening and can attest to its friendly and knowledgeable instructors, atmosphere, cleanliness, and the sense of calm one experiences as class begins. There’s a variety of options to choose from and challenging practices that have made be feel better both physically and mentally. The price is worth every minute. Highly recommend a visit with Betsy and Dana (the owners) they’ll make you feel welcome right away.

  • I have been going to classes since January 2025 and have noticed an improvement in my physical and mental health. The instructors have been wonderful and very patient with my learning curve. I am very pleasantly surprised with the chair yoga classes which has dispelled some of the myths about it being a very watered-down version of yoga...IT IS NOT! In many ways, it is as strenuous as the other classes. I highly recommend Yoga Haven if you are considering yoga classes.

  • I went to class yesterday at 12pm with Betsy, one of the owners and it reminded me why I do what I do and why I love teaching. The class was so full of teaching, presence and her effort to make sure she kept the group together and align was inspiring. It was exactly what I needed. The place was clean, very accessible and well price. The class wasn’t too large and even with a full house. Highly recommend this place. Old fashion well taught yoga classes.

  • I was so gratified to see Yoga Haven re-open after the pandemic. The studio(s) are great and the teachers are amazing. Many different levels and styles of classes are available. For all levels, there is a no stress attitude that lets you follow at your own ability....so if you are new to yoga or conversely, have any mobility issues, you are encouraged to enjoy and move at your own pace. You will not regret coming to Yoga Haven!

  • I've tried yoga classes at many venues over the years, but I never established a regular practice until I started taking classes at Yoga Haven 10 years ago. The teachers are excellent, there is a lot of choice, so you can find the styles and times that suit you. And, the overall atmosphere is one of community.

  • I have been practicing mat yoga at Yoga Haven for a while now and loved it. Unfortunately, after having hip issues I was told I will need a hip replacement. In the meanwhile I started chair yoga with Ellen. It has been a life saver. I am able to enjoy many of the yoga positions while having less stress on my hip. I still feel the benefits of yoga in a safe and fun class. We also use weights which is an added bonus. Ellen knows a lot about the body and shares it with us in every class.

  • Betsy’s yoga class was just what I needed to get me back into yoga. Betsy is welcoming and very knowledgeable about Yoga poses. Her instructions are clear and easy to follow, and she also presents options for the less flexible. After class, my body feels thoroughly stretched, and my mind feels more peaceful. I thoroughly recommend Betsy, her classes, and Yoga Haven.

  • Yoga Haven is the first studio I’ve been to where the flow of class just makes sense—each pose builds so logically to the next that my body feels genuinely prepared for the deeper stretches and more challenging work. And the instructors don’t just hit the usual suspects; they creatively target neglected spots like my jaw, my tongue, and most importantly after sitting at a desk all morning, my "dead butt"! Plus, the teachers have a sense of humor, which makes the hardest poses feel lighter. Also, the space is beautiful and mirror-free, which means I’m actually present in my body instead of critiquing my reflection. There are always plenty of mats and props available, so I can walk/run in as class is starting, just as I am. (A huge relief when you're a tired mom with young kids and always forgetting things.) Go to Yoga Haven! It's a great studio designed for real people, not Instagram yogis.
